An American girl Anna Hayes, who is a high school senior from Lake Village, Arkansas attended prom with a black friend, Phillip Freeman.
She said she was not in any intimate relationship with Phillip, that he was just a friend and the reason she took him to the prom was because he was 'really funny' and 'super cute'.
Well, her American father didn't see things her way. He totally lost it when pictures of his daughter and the black guy on her Facebook wall.

According to Anna, he has always been openly racist. Her parents are separated and she doesn't live with her father, he saw the photos on Facebook and texted her to register his racist displeasure.
She explained to buzzFeed that her parents are divorced, and though she lived with him briefly as a child, she's been in her mom's house since her early teens.

"He has told me that if I ever dated a black guy that I will and would be dead to him. I stood my ground for what I believe in. He has called me several horrible things before."
She also said:
"This just hurt more because I can not believe how anyone can hate someone they don't even know because of their skin color... My mother was horrified and felt terrible but there isn't anything she can do."
