According to Mrs Aisha Buhari who left for London few days ago to check up on her husband after the rumor that the president was dead went viral, the president Buhari is recovering real well.
She assured the public on Saturday 3rd June through her Senior Special Assistant on Administration, Dr Hajo Sani who represented her at the 3rd Annual Ramadan Lecture of the Ansar-ud-deen Society of Nigeria (ADS) held in Abuja where she was made the special guest but could not make it due to her trip to London.
In the speech delivered on her behalf by Dr Sani, she said;
“My husband is recovering very fast. And very soon, he will return to the country to resume his official duties.”
“I thank Nigerians for their prayers for my husband. Please, do not relent in your prayers,” she added.
The Nation reports that the deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Yusuf Lasun who was equally present at the event, praised President Buhari for restoring sanity to governance in Nigeria.
