Simon Cowell who is both a judge and executive producer on the NBC series "America's Got Talent and known for his scathing critical remarks certainly never imagined last night was going to be a 'wet' night for him as Mel B his co-judge and former Spice Girls Star threw a cup of water at him after he made an insensitive joke by likening one of the contestant's performance to her wedding night, saying it had "not much promise or delivery".
He said to the contestant:
"I feel like this would be a lot like Mel's wedding night, a lot of anticipation…not much promise or delivery,".
Mel B who is going through a bitter divorce with her estranged husband Stephen Belafonte got really upset at this and did not care to hide it.
The former Spice Girls star stood then, picked a glass of water and poured it on Simon then stormed off.
As she stormed off the stage in outrage, the back of her dress split, making matters worse.
