The beautiful actress
and mother of one, Monalisa Chinda is 43 today and she is so grateful to God.
Monalisa is the first born in a family of two sons and four
daughters, she was born in Port Harcourt, Rivers State to an Ikwerre father and
an Igbo mother.
She attended Army Children’s School GRA for Primary and then
Archdeacon Crowther Memorial Girls' School, Elelenwo, for Secondary. Both
schools are located in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
She obtained a degree in Theatre Arts from the University of
Port Harcourt.
She won Best Actress and got the Afro Hollywood Award 2009
at the Monte Carlo Television Festival.
In 2010 she was nominated for a Best Actress in a drama
series at the Terracotta TV and Film Awards and in 2011, Monalisa was crowned
the Face of Port Harcourt - Carnival Queen, in her hometown of Rivers State.
She has a daughter and is currently married to Tonye Coker after her failed
marriage with her first husband, Dejo Richards.
The excited actress says took to her social media account to
express her joy saying:
"Just to say thank you Lord for keeping me alive, for blessing the works of my hands, for being impactful (positively), for being loved and appreciated by so many.. Oh my Jesus I cant thank you enough. I am ever so grateful."
