It is a sad day for popular 33-year-old Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson and her family as she has lost her mum to the cold hands of death.
The actress took to her Instagram page to share the tragic news. She asked fans and friends for privacy as she mourns the loss of her mother with her family.
She said: "It deeply saddens me to say that my beloved mother is gone. This is a trying time for my family and we would appreciate your prayers, even as we plead for our privacy at this time. Thank you."
May God grant her and her family the fortitude to bear the great loss. Amen!
