In recent times, the closeness and alleged relationship between Mavin Records first lady, Tiwa Savage and Star boy, Wizkid have dominated social media and made headlines in national dailies.
The duo were rumoured to be dating after they were seen getting cozy in several pictures that surfaced online.
After a long silence, the award winning singer and mother of one, Tiwa, has dispelled the rumour.
Reacting to the rumours while speaking in an interview with Soundcity Radio 98.5fm, Tiwa Savage debunked the rumour stating that she and Wizkid are nothing but friends.
In her words;
"Wizkid and I are friends, I heard all sorts of stories about Wizkid and I, but I chose to ignore them. At a point, people said I was dating Humblesmith; later they mentioned another artiste. How long will I continue to debunk these rumours. I have been in the music industry for quite a while and I have grown a thick skin, so certain rumours or insinuations don’t get to me again. ”
