The 2019 edition of Big Brother Naija, reality show, ‘Pepper Dem Gang’ witnessed another controversy on Tuesday afternoon when Nigerians favourite couple Mercy and Ike 'Merike' broke up.
What Led To The Break Up;
Few days ago, Mercy stole Esther's coins and later asked Ike to return it which he did.
She later changed her mind and asked him to get it back since no one had seen it, and he complied.
Mercy who eventually became close to Esther felt guilty she had her coins and asked Ike to return it but this time around Ike refused.
Mercy feeling disappointed gave him an ultimatum, it was either she or the coins.
And Ike relied, I want you both.
Mercy not satisfied with the answer told him it was over between them and she would never step her feet into his room again.
She packed her things left.
Ike tried to stop her but gave up.
He clearly wasn't ready to let go of the coins as he could be heard saying; 'I told you from the onset, I didn't come here for anyone but for the game'.
