Popular Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has reacted to his father, Veteran Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie’s recent statement about men kneeling to propose marriage to their girlfriends.
Recall, the Veteran Nollywood actor, Pete, in a recent interview that went viral, slammed men who get on their knees to propose to their partners, stating that such should be seen as a taboo.
Pete stated further that the act is not part of African culture and it confers authority on the wife as the head of the house, instead of the husband.
The statement provoked lots of reactions from Nigerians including the creation of hilarious memes.
Yul Edochie stumbled on one of the memes and decided to share.
The meme showed his father supposedly behind a man slightly bent and looking a bit scared at the sight of Pete.
