Sports manufacturers Nike have finally unveiled the new 2020 Nigeria Football jerseys ahead of World Cup 2022 and the Africa Cup of Nations 2021 qualifying campaigns.
The new home kit design is inspired by the traditional agbada. It is a fusion of traditional aesthetic of an agbada robe with a mixture of modern western design.
Eagle feathers can be seen in players' names and numbers, and that pattern is also incorporated into Nigeria's away kit as well.
While the Away kit trim is inspired by Onaism which means pulling out.
Nike senior director, Heidi Burgett, took to his Twitter handle on Wednesday to share images showing the jersey.
Recall Nike enjoyed immense success with the previous Super Eagles design, which enjoyed record-breaking sales ahead of its release before the 2018 World Cup.
The last design was accepted globally and was named the best kit of the Russia 2018 World Cup.
Hopefully, this new design would receive better recognition than the former.
