Coronavirus: 20 New Cases Recorded, Total Confirmed Cases Climbs To 210 As Death Toll Rises To 4 (Screenshot)

As at 10:30 pm on April 3rd, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) reported 20 new cases in Nigeria.

11 in Lagos, 3 in FCT, 3 in Edo, 2 in Osun and 1 in Ondo.

Ondo state has recorded its first case of COVID-19, with that of Lagos and FCT notably on the rise.

The number of confirmed cases is currently at 210, while 25 people have been discharged.

Adding to that, NCDC on Twitter also revealed that Nigeria has recorded 4 deaths.

So please, stay indoors and stay safe, to protect yourself and your family.

Nigerians are being encouraged to stay at home and avoid public gatherings, as this virus can be transmitted easily from one person to another in such gatherings.

The rise in confirmed cases is as expected, hence the urgent need for government to embark on total lockdown in states with high cases of infection.

If all those infected are identified, quarantined and treated on time, then we all would be able to resume our normal daily activities and jobs, before the advent of this pandemic.
