As at 11:40pm on May 5th, 2020, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) reported 148 new cases of the infectious disease, Coronavirus in Nigeria, pushing the total to 2950.
Breaking down the 148 new cases to the states they originated from, NCDC tweeted;

NCDC further disclosed that while a total of 481 people have been discharged, 98 people have been confirmed dead.

Just yesterday the total death was reported to be 93, which means than in less than 24 hrs, Nigeria has lost 5 more people to the disease. Quite sad!
