Covid-19: Popular Nigerian-American Radio Personality, Dan Foster, Is Dead (Photos)



Popular Nigerian-American radio personality, Dan Foster, has passed on.

According to sources, Dan Foster who was said to have been ill, died around 1pm today, Wednesday 17th.

While the cause of his death is yet to be confirmed, as, at the time of filing this report, viral reports have linked it to the novel coronavirus.

Dan Foster was a broadcaster and host of The Morning Show on Classic FM, Lagos.






Foster worked with numerous American radio stations among which include Cathy Hughes Radio One, Mix 106.5, and Virgin Island-based WTBN before moving to Nigeria in 2000 where he quickly became popular.


In September 2009, Foster left Cool FM for Inspiration FM but left in 2014 to join City FM.

In May 2016, he left City FM 105.1 for Classic FM 97.3 radio station where he worked before he passed on.


Dan Foster was married to Lovina Foster with whom he had three children.
