Big Brother Naija lockdown housemate, Nengi Rebecca Hampson, has shared emotional stories of the struggles her mum had to pass through just to give her the best before her death.
Last night during their wager task presentation where they all paid a tribute to their heroes, Nengi talked about her late mother, Flora, and the values she inculcated in her before she passed on.
Nengi who made a painting of flowers which she named “Flora”, said her late mom taught her human compassion, and that she can’t stand seeing someone hurt.
According to Nengi, she saw her mum try everything to win in life and even with her mum’s limited education, she made sure she, Nengi, got the best she could afford.
Her mum did all she could to send her to school. She sold recharge cards, sold her peagent tickets and did everything for her. She kept reminding her, Nengi, of the need to go to school and promised to train her but the cold hands death snatched her away.
Nengi added saying, Even though her mother is not in this world anymore, death cannot stop the bond they have.
She dreams about her, and takes solace in those moments.
Nengi went on to reveal that she drew an angel too because her mum is her guardian angel and she is grateful she had the experience of having a mother.
Lastly Nengi noted that she, Nengi, is competitive and wants a more comfortable life than she had growing up and so she will make it big with her drive.
