American music star, Beyonce has reacted to the killing of unarmed youths in Nigeria yesterday, 20th October 2020 especially the brutal killings that took place last night in Lagos.
20th Tuesday 2020 has been marked as a black Tuesday due to the massacre that took place in several parts of Lagos especially Lekki Toll gate where the armed force men opened fire on unarmed protesters after removing all security cameras and turning off the street lights.
The sad event drew the attention of celebrities worldwide including US politicians, Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden.
Award winning singer, Beyonce has now taken to social media to react to the killings, condemning the actions of the Nigerian government and offering her support to all protesters including the injured ones.
She stated that she has been working on partnerships with youth organizations to support those protesting for change and also collaborating with coalitions to provide emergency healthcare, food and shelter.
