The winner of Big Brother Naija Season 5, Lekan Agbelesebioba, aka Laycon, has been appointed as Ogun State Youth Ambassador by the Governor of Ogun state, Dapo Abiodun.
Governor Abiodun also gifted Laycon with 5 million naira and a three-bedroom bungalow.
The governor disclosed this on Tuesday, 6th October while playing host to Laycon in his Oke-Mosan office in Abeokuta, the state capital.
Congratulating Laycon on his success at the reality show, Governor Abiodun said;
"Laycon you gathered more votes than everybody combined.
We are celebrating your character, resilience, academic excellence, talent.
You are an example of how children should be raised.
I'm immensely proud that you are a son of this soil."
“We are not only celebrating you but we have also decided to make you the Youth Ambassador of Ogun State."
