Nigerian Basketball team, D’Tigers has honored the late singer, Sound Sultan, last night.
Before their game, D’Tigers paid a tribute to Nigerian music legend, Olanrewaju Fasassi, aka Sound Sultan who died on Sunday July 11 after battling “angioimmunoblastic t-cell lymphoma”, a rare form of cancer.
The singer was a lover of the sport during his lifetime.
The team rocked rocked shirts with singer, Sound Sultan's face on it during their match against Australia last night.

They also observed a minute silence for Sound Sultan before their game against Australia last night began!

Meanwhile, the Nigerian Basketball Federation has honoured late singer, Sound Sultan, by dedicating the wins recorded by D’Tigers against the United States and Argentina to him.
