Big Brother Naija Pepper Dem star, Ike Onyema, has opened up on why his relationship with Mercy Eke didn't work.
Recall that Mercy and Ike met and bonded during the 4th edition of the Big Brother Naija reality show in 2019.
The ex-lovers continued their relationship even after the show and dated for over a year before their most talked about relationship crashed earlier this year.
Reality star and model, Ike, has now opened up on the reason they called it quits.
According to him, his relationship with Mercy was ruled by the opinions of people and that wasn't the type of relationship he wanted for himself.
Speaking in an interview with Vanguardlive TV, Ike said;
“I’ve been in a couple of relationships but this one (with Mercy) wasn’t it; having a relationship where people have a million opinions just isn’t it.
I will like to date a lady that is intelligent, pretty much independent and not so freaked about social media.
I believe social media brings a lot of negative vibes from people when it comes to relationship.”
