Amid the alarming increase in the rate at which people indulge in ritual these days in the nation, a dispatch rider has been caught transporting a live child in his box.
The man who is suspected to be a ritualist but disguising as a dispatch rider, was nabbed by an angry mob who found the baby in the bike’s delivery box.
The video making rounds on social media captures the moment the angry mob pounced on the dispatch rider giving him multiple slaps.
The incident happened in Sangotedo area of Lagos Island.
According to eye witnesses, the child was rescued by a group of people who reportedly heard the child’s cry while in traffic congestion.
After receiving multiple and continuous hard slaps and beatings from the angry mob, the dispatch rider was then transported to the nearest police station.
