Five students have been arrested following the loss of their Landlord's foodstuff.
The five students from University of Uyo, UNIOYO, were apprehended after their land lord discovered that his plantain had gone missing.
According to reports, the students residing at Ikpa Lanes, were arrested in the early hours of Tuesday, March 29 and taken to Barracks Rd.
Although, in a recent development, Saviour Udoh, a businessman revealed that he has secured bail of the students.
Sharing the update, the business man wrote;
“I’ve succeeded in securing BAIL as thier SURETY for the five (5) students of the University of Uyo who were arrested earlier this morning by thier landlord.
I want to specially thank the Dean students affairs, University of Uyo for his swift response, the SUG president & vice for thier support, presence and solicitations too.”
