Some kids' joyful moment would have turned to one of their saddest if not for the quick intervention of one of the few adults around.
The kids who were having a nice time at the swimming pool narrowly escaped being bitten by a poisonous snake.
The scary incident reportedly happened in Yola, Adamawa state.
According to reports, while the kids were playing inside the pool, a snake stealthily entered the pool without their knowledge and hid inside waiting for the right time to attack.
Luckily for them, the snake was spotted by one of the adults there who killed it and took it out of the swimming pool.
Fortunately, none of the kids were harmed by the snake.
