'Ekwueme' Gospel Singer, Sis. Osinachi Nwachukwu Has Passed Away


Popular Nigerian gospel musician, Sister Osinachi Nwachukwu has passed away.

The Renowned singer known for her song, Ekwueme, was confirmed dead in an Abuja hospital on the evening of Friday, 8th April.

According to reports, the talented singer with a voice to move even the strongest of hearts had been battling with an undisclosed ailment for two months which had placed her on life support.

The Imo State-born gospel singer and mother of four died at the age of 42 years.


The gospel singer shot into the limelight with the hit gospel song, “Ekwueme”, which she did with Prospa Ochimana.

She has also been featured in some popular gospel songs like “Nara Ekele” by Pastor Paul Enenche (Dunamis, Abuja), and “You no dey use me play” by Emma.
