A Nigerian woman has changed the life of a young market girl who thought that becoming a Yahoo girl was her only chance at life.
The woman identified as Seyi Oluyole, gave the little girl a better chance at life by ensuring she stopped selling at the market and started going to school.
According to Oluyole, she met the little girl named Ruth in 2019 and during a discussion with her, she said her ambition when she gets older was to become a yahoo girl.
Oluyole disclosed that she was moved to emotions by her statement, so she decided to take up her matter and see to it that she gets an education.
She then visited Ruth’s mum, a hawker, who revealed that her daughter had to stop school due to financial struggles.
Oluyole took to her Twitter page to share the story while sharing photos of the Ruth to celebrate her10th birthday.
