Jasmine Chioma Okafor, the daughter of popularly Nollywood veteran actor, John Ikechukwu Okafor aka Mr. Ibu has announced the end of her marriage.
The content creator who recently celebrated 9 months marriage anniversary with her US based husband, revealed that she would no longer be continuing the marriage because he lied to her.
According to, her husband had lied to her about his previous marriage and kids.
She discovered through her mother-in-law that her husband was previously divorced with 3 grown kids.
She further added that she still loves her man and the 9 months spent with him still remains one of her best, however she will not be continuing a marriage that was based on a lie.
In her words:
"This was the best nine months ! I just won’t settle for asking you about this severally before we start! Finding out today from your mum really broke me!
A foundation built upon a tiny lie won’t stand! I love how you loved me! But hate how you never mentioned your divorce or kids to me!
Moving on, I don’t think I want anybody else! Just gonna love you from a distance.”
