Chef Hilda Bassey Effiong better known as Hilda Baci's record has finally been confirmed by Guinness World Record as
Recall few weeks ago, the chef broke Guinness World Record for longest hours spent in cooking by an individual surpassing the previous holder, an Indian chef, Lata London who cooked for 87 hours and 45 mins.
Hilda started the cooking on the 11th of May, Thursday and completed the target time frame of 93 hours and 11 mins by Monday 15th May, 2023.
However, there wasn't any update from Guiness world record confirming the victory.
Fortunately for Hilda and Nigerians as a whole, after few weeks of waiting, the managers of Guinness world record has now confirmed Hilda Baci's record, making her the newest holder of the title.
They wrote on their official Twitter page saying;
After reviewing all the footage, we're delighted to announce that Hilda Baci is the new record holder for the longest cooking marathon (individual).
