Mohbad's family has made an emotional request to Nigerians as they react to the untimely death of their son.
Mimi's Blog recalls that music executive, Ovie announced that Mohbad had passed on.
He made this known via his Twitter handle.
In a sad statement which was released via the late singer's verified instagram handle, the family confirmed the death of Mohbad stating that he is at peace wherever he is.

They went further to appeal to Nigerians to respect their family's privacy as they mourn the death of their beloved son who suddenly lost his life.
However, the cause of the singer's death was not revealed.
According to online reports, it was said that Mohbad died from an ear infection.
The statement read;
"It is with great sadness that we confirm the passing of Mohbad today, the 12th of September, 2023.
Mohbad was light until the very end and as we mourn the loss of the brightness he carried, the family thanks you for your love and prayers and ask that you continue to respect their privacy during this difficult time.
Imole is finally at peace".
