Reality TV star and actress, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, better known as Phyna, has responded to her father's accusation that she abandoned her family after winning the Big Brother Naija Level Up season.
Phyna's father disclosed this in a recent interview with Vanguard.
According to him, after she won the Big Brother Naija Level up season, they believed that their suffering had ended, but they were wrong.
He said, "I haven’t seen Phyna, my daughter since she won the BBNaija Level Up edition last year".
Phyna's father's comments sparked controversy online.
Netizens criticized Phyna on social media, calling her ungrateful and unappreciative of her family's support, and she took to her verified Twitter handle to react to the controversy.
In her tweet, she stated that she hadn't cried since being dragged online.
However, her father's comment made her break down in tears.
Phyna also added that she would address the reports later in the day during an Instagram live.
Her tweet reads;
"In the history of dragging ,this is the first time i cried and it touched me💔.
Let’s meet later on instagram live".
