Nollywood actor and Big Brother Naija star, Tobi Bakare was awarded the Best Actor in a Leading Role at the African Movie Academy Awards.
This award came weeks after the reality star and his wife, Anu, welcomed their second child, a bouncing baby girl.
On Sunday, October 29, 2023, the African Movie Academy Awards were held at the prestigious Balmoral Convention Centre in Ikeja, Lagos.
The event was hosted by Nancy Isime, along with co-hosts Rahama Sadau and Richard Ato Turkson.
The African Movie Academy Awards celebrated the very best of African cinema, bringing together filmmakers from around the world to recognize their achievements and contributions to the industry.
Tobi Bakare announced the news on his verified Instagram account, sharing it with his followers and expressing how thrilled and honored he was to be a part of the award ceremony.
Sharing a photo of himself holding his award, he wrote in the caption,"God did, thank you AMAA awards".
