In a recent interview, Mercy Eke, the first runner up of the Big Brother Naija All Stars show revealed that she wasn't in a relationship before going on the show.
This contradicts her statements during the show, when she claimed that she was in a relationship.
According to Mercy, her boyfriend didn't want her to participate in the Big Brother Naija reality show a second time.
He even offered her 120 million Naira to stay home, but she refused.
During the interview, Mercy revealed that she lied to the male housemates about her relationship status.
She said that she lied to chase them away from having interest in her, since she didn't want to be in a relationship with any of the male housemates in the house.
Mercy explained "I was not in any relationship before entering the show.
I was trying to use that to chase the male
housemates away".
