Jasmine Okafor, daughter of veteran Nollywood actor, John Okafor, better known as Mr Ibu, has revealed that her father's leg has been amputated.
This revelation came after he had previously appealed to the public for financial support to help him recover from an undisclosed illness.
Jasmine shared the news on her Instagram account, expressing her gratitude to those who supported her father financially.
She revealed that he has undergone seven surgeries and has had one of his legs amputated to survive the illness.
Jasmine acknowledged that while the family was not happy about the amputation, they had to accept it as a necessary step to keep her father alive.
She also appealed to the public for financial support during this difficult time.
Jasmine wrote, "My dad has undergone seven surgeries and his leg has been amputated to keep him alive.
We are soliciting support from the public".
