Popular Nigerian stand-up comedian, Bright Okpocha, better known as Basketmouth, has revealed why his colleague, Ayo Makun, won't be performing at his show tonight.
It's worth noting that prior to this year, the two had had a long-standing beef.
However, Basketmouth put their longstanding beef aside and apologized to Ayo in a heartfelt post on his verified Instagram account.
In an interview with Arise TV, Basketmouth revealed that Ayo won't be performing at his show tonight at Eko Suites and Hotel in Lagos, because the event is scripted.
He also said that Ay will attend his show, and that he sent him an invitation card a few days ago.
At the interview, Basketmouth revealed that he plans to retire from comedy in five years, because he will have other commitments by then.
In his words, "Ayo is not performing on my show tonight, but he will attend.
I plan to retire from comedy in five years, because i will have other commitments by then."
