Renowned Afrobeats singer, Ayodeji Balogun better known as Wizkid, allegedly received a payment of 24.5 million dollars for performing at a show in Saudi Arabia.
Last night, Wizkid delivered an electrifying solo performance to a crowd of over 700,000 at the Sound Storm festival, held in the city of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Prior to his performance in Saudi Arabia, Wizkid's mother, Jane Dolapo, passed away on August 20, 2023.

A Twitter user with the handle @MkTizzle claimed that Wizkid received a substantial payment for the performance.
Additionally, reports claimed that the singer wore an outfit worth 18 million Naira to the event in Saudi Arabia.
The reports come days after Wizkid announced a 100 million Naira giveaway for children in celebration of Christmas.
As of the time of this report, no official information has been released about the amount of money Wizkid was paid for his performance in Saudi Arabia.
