The management team of late Nigerian singer, Mohbad, has filed a lawsuit against his father, Joseph Aloba, over defamation of character.
Mimi's Blog reported that during an interview with TVC , Mohbad's father revealed, that his son had a will that he was not aware of.
In addition, he asserted that the will was thumbprinted, not signed.
In response to his claim, Mohbad's management team firmly denied the existence of a will, and labeled the claim false and baseless.
A statement released by Mohbad's management team via the singer's Instagram account stated that if such a will existed, it would have been made public and duly registered with the probate registry.
However, Mohbad's management team has taken legal action against Mohbad's father and sued him for defamation of character.
In the lawsuit, Mohbad's management team demands that he withdraw his slanderous statement or risk paying 200 million Naira.
Mohbad's management team stated that no will was presented to his father, and that the claims made by his father were intended for the purpose of drawing in public sentiments.
It's worth noting that a few days ago, Mohbad's father received a brand new Toyota Highlander from a good Samaritan.
