Afrobeats singer, Davido, has broken his silence, after losing three Grammy Award nominations at the 2024 Grammy Awards ceremony.
At the 66th Grammy Awards ceremony, Davido was nominated for three categories, Best Global Music Performance, Best Global Music Album, and Best Global Music Song.
However, Davido lost all three of his nominations at the Grammy Awards ceremony that was held in Los Angeles last night.
At the ceremony, South African artist Tyla won the Best Global Music Performance Award and Indian artist Shakti won the Best Global Music Album Award.
Additionally, American director Béla Fleck, Edgar Meyer, and Zakir Hussain, featuring Rakesh Chaurasia, won the Best Global Music Performance Award.
Following his loss, Davido has taken to Twitter to congratulate Tyla on her first Grammy award win.
He tweeted,"Congratulations on your win, Tyla. Big one for Africa".
