Following his exceptional performance at the just concluded 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, Super Eagles Goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali has recieved a Chieftaincy title in his hometown.
The goalie was first welcomed home in a grand style, with massive crowd showing up at the airport for him.
He was also escorted home by a large number of fans who kept hailing his name.
Following his arrival home, the the 27-year-old has now been bestowed with a prestigious chieftaincy title.
He was conferred with the chieftaincy title, “Ugoh Egbema 1 Of ONELGA” by his community's paramount ruler.
The ceremony saw the community’s paramount ruler bestowing upon him the esteemed title upon Nwabali in recognition of his outstanding achievements and exemplary character.

This is coming few days after he was rewarded with N20 million by the Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara.
The football star was also bestowed with the honour of Distinguished Service Star of River State.
