"I Deeply Apologise To Nigerians"- Super Eagles Goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali Says In Tears Following Defeat


Super Eagles goal keeper, Stanley Nwabali has reacted to their defeat.

Recall last night, Sunday 11th February, the Super Eagles of Nigeria lost to the Elephants of Cote d'Ivoire in the final of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) leaving many Nigerias disappointed.

Following the loss, Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, has taken to social media to lament, while giving his take on the match.

Sharing emotional pictures depicting him crying, the goal keeper described their final match against Cote d'Ivoire as disappointing and frustrating.

He further apologised to Nigerians over the defeat while thanking them for their full support all through the AFCON season.

In his words;

"A disappointing and frustrating end. I deeply apologise to Nigerians. I was once a fan, still a fan and I understand how it feels giving you a disappointing night. We take full responsibility. Thanks for the whole support till the end. I love you all.
