The Nollywood industry is thrown into mourning following the death of its member, Ethel Ekpe.
Shaibu Husseini, Director General of the National Film and Video Censors Board, announced the news of her demise on his Facebook page.
He revealed that she died of cancer and stated that she would be missed.
In addition, he announced that he named his daughter after her.
His post reads,"We are saddened to announce the passing of our dear friend, Ethel Ekpe. She will be missed greatly by her family".
