"I Pledge To Nurture Them As You Would Have Wished"- E-money Vows To Raise Late Junior Pope's Kids As His

Popular Nigerian billionaire businessman, Emeka Okonkwo, aka E-money has promised to raise the three sons of his late friend, actor Junior Pope Odonwondo, following his painful demise in a boat accident.

Recall the popular Nollywood actor, Jnr. Pope died on Wednesday night, 10th April, after the boat conveying him and some of his colleagues on their way back from a movie shoot in Asaba, capsized along the Anam River, in Anambra.

Prior to the tragic accident, the actor could be heard in one of the last videos shared on his Instagram page, begging the boat driver to reduce his speed and take it easy as he had three sons to raise and no one to do it for him seeing that he was the only child of his parents.

Sadly his life was cut short and his biggest fear came to life as he eventually had to leave behind his wife and their three kids.

E-money, who was not only a friend but also like a brother to the actor has now taken to his Instagram page to mourn and honor him.

Sharing a video of sweet memories shared with the actor, the business mogul pledged to take care of Jnr Pope’s children as his and take up their responsibilities.

Part of the video caption reads;

"We tenderly remember your final words on the boat, “NA ONLY ME DEM BORN I GET 3 CHILDREN NA ME GO RAISE THEM,” and we solemnly commit to honoring that vow.

Upur children now find solace in the embrace of the Okonkwo family, and we, as members of that family, pledge to nurture them as you would have wished."
