Funke Akindele and her husband pleaded guilty to flouting social distancing regulation amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Following their arrest on the 5th of April 2020, a Magistrate court sitting in Lagos has sentenced Nollywood actress Funke Akindele and her husband Abdulrasheed Bello a.k.a JJC skills to two weeks community service.
The couple were sentenced to 14 days community service each for defying the Federal government's lockdown order to contain the Corona Virus outbreak.
They are to serve three hours per day excluding Saturday and Sunday.
They must each visit 10 public places to educate people on the consequences of not complying with directives on Coronavirus.
Breaching the Lagos Infection Diseases Regulations 2020 (the Regulations) attracts a jail term of one month or N100,000 fine .
The Akindeles were also ordered to pay a fine of N100,000 each.
