Lagos State Police Command has arrested Nollywood actress and producer, Funke Akindele, for going against Federal government’s order on lockdown which was issued to contain the spread of coronavirus in the country.
Recall the mother of two on Saturday hosted a birthday party in her apartment which led to an uproar and calls for her arrest.
Even though the actress earlier today took to her Instagram page to tender a sincere apology to her fans and the federal government;

A call for her arrest was still issued.
Her arrest was confirmed by Gawat Jubril, who is the SSA to Gov. Sanwoolu on New Media.
According to the Lagos State Public Relations Officer, Bala Elkana, Akindele has been taken to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Yaba, while a manhunt has been launched for her husband, singer Naira Marley and other guests at the party.
