Pop star, David Adeleke aka Davido has received over N95 million in about five hours after challenging his friends to send him N1 million each ahead of his birthday.
The music star who would be celebrating his 28th birthday on Sunday, 21st November is beyond overwhelmed as friends and colleagues gift him millions amounting to almost 100 million naira as at the time of this update.
Earlier today, the singer took to his Instagram story to lament over the fact that he constantly helps people but no one does same to him in return.
He further asked his BG crew members to each send him a million naira each to prove their loyalty or otherwise leave the gang.
Well, the challenge escalated and so many of his other friends who are not members of 30BG, his colleagues and fans decided to gift him a million or more each as an early birthday gift.
The singer who created a new bank account for this challenge, has been posting screenshots of money sent into it to show his seriousness.
He has been updating his Instagram stories regularly with screenshots of transactions and individually thanking everyone who sent him money.
The last balance in that account as at the time of this post reads, N95,978,669.60.
