During the show, Tega started losing fans after she starting having an amorous relationship with Boma.
That same week, the mother of one got evicted from the show as no one wanted to vote for her to stay.
Coming out of the house, it was like hell on earth for her as she was trolled back and forth by netizens, she got badly dragged online.
At some point Tega broke down on her Insta live begging Nigerians for forgiveness.
After a while, Tega disappeared from social media only to reappear looking better and strong and since then she never left.
It seems she found a way of overcoming the abuses and trolling and after a while the dragging gradually reduced till it stopped.
Speaking last night during the 11th episode of the shine ya eye reunion show, the mother of one disclosed how it affected her.
Responding to Ebuka's question, Tega revealed that if not for the fact that she had a thick skin, she would have kìlled herself.
She revealed that at some point she had to get over the backlash because there was no use still crying over spilt milk.
She ended by saying that she was at peace with herself because her heart is pure.
