Nigerian businessman and chairman of Almubee Group, Mubarak Abuche, has gifted Olawunmi, the wife of the late award-winning Nigerian singer, Mohbad, two million naira and offered their 5-month-old child a scholarship to university level.
Confirming the report, a notable event host, Big Smart, stated in an Instagram post that he had reached out to the businessman, who obliged and disbursed the cash gift to Mohbad's wife.
He also expressed how he felt over Mohbad's demise.
Big Smart went further to express gratitude to Mubarak Abuche for his kind gesture towards Mohbad's wife and the 5-month-old son he left behind.
In his words;
"I feel so hurt about Mohbad's death.
I never got to meet him before he passed away.
I only used to see him far away whenever he was performing on stage.
I want to use this opportunity to say a big thank you to my boss, Mubarak Almubee.
I just reached out to him, and he was able to send two million naira to Mohbad's wife.
I just want you guys to help me appreciate him".
Recall that Mohbad passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.
The singer's death was announced by his family via his verified Instagram handle.
