Sammy Larry, a music and show promoter who is alleged to have assaulted the late award-winning Nigerian singer and songwriter, Mohbad, has reacted following the singer's demise.
Recall that following Mohbad's death, Sammy Larry has been the talk of the internet after video clips of him assaulting the late singer resurfaced online.
In a recent video he shared via his instagram page, Sammy Larry was speaking in a Yoruba accent, and he claimed that he had no hand in Mohbad's death, despite the fact that he didn't have a cordial relationship with the singer before he passed away.
He also added that he never physically abused Mohbad.
According to online reports, Sammy Larry and Naira Marley have been apprehended in Kenya, where they fled following Mohbad's demise.
In his words;
"Wherever you might be listening to this, my name is Samson Irefolabi Balogun Eletu.
In everything that is happening, Mohbad is my brother, and i like him.
Even when he was at Marlians Records, he knew i loved him, and his wife also knows.
The fact that we’re fighting doesn’t necessarily involve death.
I cannot kill Mohbad".
