"Everything Happens Exactly On God's Own Time" - Mr. Ibu's Final Words To Pquare's Paul Okoye On Dying Bed (Video)

A heartbreaking video capturing the final moments of veteran Nollywood actor, John Okafor popularly known as Mr. Ibu, before his death, has surfaced.

Recall social media went agog following the news of the death of the comic icon who had died of cardiac arrest at the age of 62 on Saturday 2nd March 2024.

The actor had been battling with blood clotting in the leg, stemming from diseased blood vessels and other strange illnesses for months which finally led to the amputation of his leg. Sadly there was a relapse and he was moved to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Evercare Hospital, Lekki where he gave up the ghost.

During his last days at the hospital, he was visited by Nigerian singer, Paul Okoye, better known by his stage name, Rudeboy, one half of the PSquare duo.

A video from one of the visits have surfaced online and the late actor could be seen on his hospital bed showing gratitude to Rudeboy few hours before he passed on.

The comedian who was seen laying on his hospital bed, could be heard praising the singer for being by his side.

In his words;

"Rudeboy, I don’t know where to begin. But everything happens exactly on God’s own time. When the time comes, it has come."

He added saying;

“Rudeboy, if you don’t make heaven, call me nama [meat]. You will go to heaven and we will sit in the presence of the angels and eat together.

What people will be talking about today would be, ‘How come? But Ibu and P-Square, they are not the same parents.’ But I tell you, parents don come.”

May his soul rest in peace.
