Nigerian cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky has been sentenced to prison for abusing the nation's currency, Naira.
Recall the male barbie was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commisoon (EFCC) on April 5th and arraigned in court on a six-count charge, ranging from Abuse of the Naira and Money laundering.
However, the court dismissed the money laundering charges but convicted him for Naira Abuse after he confessed to the crime.
The court also ordered that he be remanded in EFCC detention in Lagos.
After days of waiting, the court has now sentenced him to to six months in jail with no option of fine.
The judgement was handed this morning, Friday April 12 by Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos.
Photos of Bobrisky as he was being moved to Ikoyi Correctional center, his home for the next 6 months has surfaced online.
