Junior Pope: Akwa Ibom Gov Offers Late Makeup Family Job, As He Brings Home Her Body After It Was Buried Beside River (Video)

The body of Late Nollywood make-up artiste, Abigail Fredrick has been brought back to her home state, Akwa Ibom.

Recall Abigail Fredrick was one of the victims of the boat accident on Wednesday, 10th April, that took the life of popular Nollywood actor, Junior Pope Odonwondo and three other film practitioners.

Following her death, her body was buried beside the river where she drowned as the land's tradition demands.

This was due to her family's inability to provide the fund required to perform the necessary rituals needed for her body to be shipped home.

Reacting to the situation, Akwa Ibom Governor, Umo Eno, paid a visit to the bereaved family Saturday where he promised to bring home Abigail Fredrick's body alongside the sound guy and camera assistant who were buried alongside her.

He also directed the renovation of the family house and announced an automatic civil service job for the deceased's elder sister.

Not stopping there, Eno pledged to assist the late makeup artist's two younger sisters, who are undergraduates at the University of Uyo.

True to his promise, Abigail has now been exhumed from the grave and transported back to her home in Akwa Ibom state.
