A newly wedded Nigerian couple has set tongues wagging after photos of their white wedding hit the internet.
The Igbo couple decided to do away with the usual black suit and white wedding gown outfit for a more unconventional look and Nigerians are thrilled by it.
The beautiful couple used the traditional Isiagu attire, popular among the Igbos, as a replacement for the Groom’s suit, the Bride’s Wedding dress, the groomsmen suit and bridesmaids' outfits.
When asked why she opted for the Isiagu attire, the bride, Nancy Nkiruka,
responded on Twitter saying;
“I’ve always loved native attires. Attended a festival five years ago and told myself I must rock this on my wedding day”
