Former Big Brother Naija shine ya eye housemate, Yerimene Abraham aka Yerins has indirectly declared war on all Yorubas after he took to social media to call their native swallow food, amala, trash.
According to the 27 year old who has finally tasted it, amala is overrated and should be banned.
For those who do not know, àmàlà is a very popular local indigenous Nigerian swallow food, native to the Yoruba ethnic group in the western states of the country.
It is made out of yam and/or cassava flour, or unripe plantain flour.
Amala is best enjoyed with either gbegiri, stew or Ewedu soup.
Yerins however came to a conclusion that amala is trash.
